AROOJ ANJUM is an Associate Attorney at Vandeveer Garzia, P.C., focusing on defense litigation in personal injury, first-party automobile claims, third-party automobile negligence, premise liability and general negligence cases. She defends both individuals and various national clients, including major insurance carries throughout the State of Michigan. Arooj graduated from James Madison College at Michigan State University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Comparative Culture and Politics with specializations in Science, Technology, and Environment Public Policies and Muslim Studies. After college, she served in Americorps for one year in the Greater Lansing Area. While in law school at the University of Detroit Mercy School of law she was a member of Law Review, participated in the Patrick A. Keenan Appellate Advocacy Competition where she received awards for Top 10 Brief and Oral Advocate, and was President of the South Asian Law Student Association.
